I have a My Book Essential 2.0 1TB with lots of room and it is connected to my laptop with very little room on the C/drive. What can I move over to the My Book Essential.
Just a warning never trust important data to just one physical drive internal or external. The best for what you want to do is use 2 external drives so you have 2 copies. The forum is full of people moaning they lost all their irreplacable stuff when the drive had a problem.
