Apologies in advance if this is a dumb question. I am definitely not an expert in how GSPEED RAID drive arrays work.
I have GSpeed Q 8TB drive array that recently stopped working. It won’t power on at all, probably because of a failed power supply.
I was able to buy another used GSPEED Q enclosure with drives and want to move the hard drives from the old enclosure to the new one. Is this as simple as just installing all of the drives from my old GSPEED into the new enclosure and turning it on? Or is there other configuration needed?
I have thousands of dollars worth of data on the old drives that I don’t want to lose, so would appreciate any expert guidance on how to do this right.
