What is the recommend way to move the drives or data from a My Book Studio Edition 2 to the My Cloud EX4.
The esata and firewaire ports on the MBSE2 has failed**, only the USB is working, I am going to abandon the hardware.
Can I drop the existing drives into the EX4 or do I need to transfer the data via USB (All 1.5TB of it)?
** It is possible that there is an underlying issue betrween the MBSE2 and the HP Probook, but I haven’t solved it, it seems temperamental and intermittent, if there is a pattern to the fault, I haven’t found it.
