Movie storage with different interface?

I have a Mybook and I am storing movies on them. I have it connected to my Netgear router (DNLA), and I am able to access the router with my smart tv or PS3. 

Unfortunately, the user interface isn’t great. With 500 movies, it makes it tough to scroll through all the movies. Is there a program I could install and/or use where I can view all of them easier through my tv, etc??

It does make sense but you should try using Google to search for such application.

Try searching on the Netgear communities to see if there’s someone else with a similar query or with a solution for this problem.

Otherwise, you can create folders and group the movies according to genre, actors and so forth but this will be time consuming.
