The user actually using the media player doesn’t give a rat’s rear end what the back end folder looks like! Yours is a specious argument.
I only look at the raw folders once in a blue moon. I don’t give a rat’s rear end that it’s full of other stuff… Since I actually know what I’m doing, everything in the folder makes perfect sense. My family never sees it.
For people who aren’t nearly as ana l retentive as you, the file structure is completely manageable.
So you’re definitely better off finding another player that does what you require. Good luck, and let us know what you find. Suggest you look at the Boxee Box, since it’s (loosely) based on XBMC…
But I further suggest you do your research FIRST so you don’t go over to some other forum and call their developers half assed just because you don’t like their requirements…
Oh, and BTW, “Fail” is a VERB, not a noun. ;)
