Moved from My Cloud to My Cloud Mirror, now can't set day/time for SmartWare Pro backup

I used SmartWare Pro with my My Cloud for over a year with no problems. My setup uses file backup mode and Sunday’s at 10am for Frequency.  When I removed the My Cloud and setup the My Cloud Mirror, everytime I go into Backup Frequency, it reverts to Continuous Backup.  Is this something specific to the Mirror or a bug?

I’d recommend re-installing WD SmartWare. Backup settings are universal within your computer system and should not be affected by the target storage device.

Uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, no change. It will no longer remember a specific day of the week and time.

Found a strange workaround. Start a backup and while the backup is running, change the frequency.  It saves the data and a clock icon shows up.  No idea why the backup had to be running before it would accept a change, but it worked.
