Moved countries, unable to access dashboard even after reset


I’ve recently moved countries and when trying to plug mycloud device I am unable to map the server on my Mac. I’ve tried the reset function multiple times and can’t get this to work.

Does anyone know what I need to do in order to get this working? Mycloud is working fine however.


What is the specific error message you are receiving when attempting to map the drive? Can you access the My Cloud Dashboard? Can you access the My Cloud using Mac Finder?

I can’t access the My Cloud dashboard or My Cloud via Mac finder, but can access files via MyCloud apps.

I get the following message when trying to map the drive via finder, but when trying to connect to the dashboard the page simply won’t load.


There was a problem connecting to the server.
The server may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP Address, check your network connection and then try again.”
