everytime the device comes up from standby, it is not capable of playing mediafiles, nor streams. The orange circle keeps on spinning forever. So every time i want to watch something i have to bring the device up from stanby, go to system and reboot the device, and then it is able to play the files. Its a cumbersome procedure and makes me avoid using the darn thing. If i change the source (f.i. from nas tot stream) the same procedure is needed

This is not normal, you can try a roll back, and an additional reset.  If the problem is not fixed, you may replace it.

Do you reboot or reset. Do a reset to factory defaults via the internal menu.
