My 2 TB drive is about 2 years old. I use it on a 2015 MacBook Air which is kept up to date. Never a problem. Until last night. Just stopped detecting. Seems like it would be working, makes all the right sounds. I switched cables and ports. I even brought to a PC at the library and it isn’t detected there either, but perhaps it’s only Mac compatible.
Suggestions?
you may discover the USB logic has failed and the disk itself is actually fine
