I have no problem accessing my My Cloud from my cell phone but only when it is connected via the network that the My Cloud is on. When I am remote it will access.

Did you setup cloud access for user? Also check cloud status by going to dashboard > Cloud Access.  What is your status?

Yes and the status is “connected”

Connected … how?   Via Relay or Port Forwarding?

Port forwarding connection established.

I really am getting old I started another thread on this last sunday and forgot. I got this kind of working today following thw above proceedure for a static network connection and fixed ports, it works but with the mentioned relay mode and says the port forwrding failed. 

I am not sure i will keep this drive, it may go back to Best Buy.
