Mkvs not playing

Some of my mkvs won’t play on my wdtv live. from what I’ve read, it has something to do with either header compression or something like that, or it needs to be reencoded.

Here’s the mediainfo:

So, what do I have to do? also, please explain it in the simplest way possible, if you could. I know next to nothing about all this.

Has nothing to do with Header Compression.   Only the old WD players (the WDTV HD and Elements Play and older) have a problem with that.  None of the “Live” players do.

Your particular issue is:

Format : AVC
Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec
Format profile : High@L5.1
Format settings, CABAC : Yes

No WD player supports that profile.  With AVC, the highest profile supported is High@L4.1.

Okay, how would i go about fixing the problem?
