I’m sorry if this has actually been answered somewhere already, but I’ve looked through several posts and only became more confused and frusterated so I figured I’d just ask and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
I have an 8TB WD Sharespace, a PS3, and a XBOX 360, and a Samsung Blu-ray player. I want to be able to stream my .mkv **bleep** my sharespace before attempting any adjustments so if someone could point me to some help there as well I’d be very grateful.
I am currently using mkv2vob to convert all my mkv’s, which works about 95% of the time, and playing the mpg’s on my ps3. I’ve saved all my mkv’s for the day when i can bypass the conversion process but at this point I’m looking at about 2TB of wasted space on duplicate files. I’m at the point where I really need to reclaim that space so I’m hoping to find a solution.

Dude, I can’t understand the post because of the bleep. If you wrote a word that gets bleeped, it can bleep the whole sentence ahead and kill the meaning…
Wow! Sorry, I didn’t notice the *bleep* thingy. That’s wierd. I’m not sure why it bleeped me… and it appears that half the words are missing from that paragraph. I’ll try to explain again…
I want to be able to stream my .mkv files from my sharespace via the network to my devices. I get an error trying to stream these to any of my devices currently. I’m not sure if it’s because of my version of Twonky or firmware or what. I’ve never updated anything on my sharespace because I don’t know how and am affraid to loose my data. I’m currently running Twonky version 5.1.7, I think, and firmware version 2.2.91 with MioNet 4.3.1.12.
