MKV file will not play

when I try to play this MKV file, I get an error from the wdtv live.  Other MKV files play fine.  Is there a limitation to the contents of the mkv file that I should be aware of?

I just got the unit today and have similar problems with mkv files.

how did you get all that information about the file?  if there are limitations id also be interested!

thanks,

Format                           : AVI
Format/Info                      : Audio Video Interleave

That should be enough of a clue to realize that it is incorrectly named as a .mkv file, when indeed it looks like a standard AVI file with divx/AC3. Rename to .avi and it will probably work.

Btw next time you might wanna delete that line that makes the source of the file so obvious :>
