Missing some files after firmware update ! Help

Hi,

We updated the firmware on our EX2 today, all seemed ok, firmware updated and system rebooted and we are able to access our shared folders, however on closer inspection we seem to be missing random files from what looks like the past week?

Is that caused by the firmware update or just a coincidence? Any one have any ideas?

Hi,

A firmware update should not delete any data, but it is always advisable to backup your unit prior to any update.
Perhaps you are using a sync program that may have moved a few files elsewhere?
