Missing Files

Hi,
Recommended WD Passport Ultra to a friend and set it up for him. After the first backup was completed I checked (using Restore Files option) to see if all the files and folders we backed up but found that the files are missing. Can anyone shed some light as to what is going on here? All of the folders are shown but on opening they do not contain any files.

If you have backup the files using WD Backup. It is recommended to access the files manually by referring the link given below.

Thanks for your help with this matter.

Sure enough when I go about it in the way you suggested all the files are shown to be in place. However, I’m still puzzled about it. As I explained in my original question, by using the WD desktop link which takes me to the backup or restore options page and using the ‘Select Location’ it does not show the files only the folders and it states that the folders are empty. In the event that I need to restore lost or deleted individual files, how would I select them?
