I installed the software on both a Vista and 7.1 machine following the instructions that came in the EX2 box, and also installing the updates to that software. Each and every time one of these two systems boots up, Windows detects new hardware and tries to install a driver for “2-Bay Personald Cloud Storage” … searching for it on Windows Update, on the local PC, and finally asking me to insert the disk that came with it (none of course). I can’t get rid of this error and it is very annoying. I searched the WD web site and can’t find any drivers of any kind … only the software I have already installed that caused the problem in the first place. Does anybody have any ideas?
Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
