Mirrored Folders in My Public Share

I noticed Mirrored Folder’s being created in many of my Folders, Shared Music, Shared Pictures, Shared Videos, etc. Why are they being created? If I delete them they come back. What are they for???

Thanks

More information (My Cloud model, firmware version, local or remote access, etc.) would help, as would including a screen shot of what you are seeing. Are you using any sort of sync software to synchronize or copy files to or from the My Cloud?

@RLMWD

Is this what you are seeing in the 1st generation WDMYCLOUD?

If you want to delete the mirrored folder, then select all images that are in it. Drag and drop them into Shared Pictures. Go back and reopen Shared Pictures, find the mirrored folder, select and delete it. When you open Shared Pictures, mirrored folder should not be there in the list. See image below. Click on, tap, or activate image to enlarge it.

Exactly, I also see it in Pictures, and Videos in the Public Shared folder. I use Twonky server to stream music from the Public Music Folder. It is the only Folder selected to share in Twonky.

Thanks
