MioNet error please help

Hi

I have setup my My Book World 2TB HDD thur MioNet for the first time and when i come to access it remotely it comes up with an error that i dont understand.

ERROR: “MioNet does not currently support this device in a local network. Please use the software supplied with the device to access it through “My Computer””

Surely MioNet supports tis device why would WD recommend it otherwise.

Please help

Dude, are you trying to access the drive using Mionet while on your house? That’s the problem, that software is to be used when you’re NOT on the same network as the MBW…
