Migration of old data

I had to do 40 second hard reset of my 3T WD My Cloud. I was able to add all users back and give them access. I am unable to access the data from the previous account. The first account was set up with everyone’s access as public. This time I created shares and gave them access to only their information. How do,I migrate the data from the previous user name to the current one?
