Migrating older Time Machine back-ups from another external drive?

Hi,

I have a MAc that has been backing up via Time Machine to an external drive sinc 2012. I have purchased a 2TB MyCloud with the intention of replacing the old external with this new MyCloud set-up. Is there any way to migrate all of the old Time Machine back-ups on my old external drive to the new MyCloud drive so they are recognised by Time Machine as being older bak-ups of any new back-ups that are newly saved on the MyCloud?

Welcome to the Community.

If possible, then I believe this would be a Time Machine-specific feature since the WD My Cloud will only hold the Time Machine backup instead of directly managing the application or parameters.
