Microsoft windows TV files

They are listed but when I start them everything is good for about 15 sec. Then audio stops and picture not as good. Just got the live hub help ?

Hello,

You mean .wtv files? If yes, that file type is not supported by the HUB. See the supported files below from the user guide.

Yeah, it would be nice if WD would add support for wtv files. I could get rid of my WMC extender if they did.

I really doubt that this file format, WTV, can be added to the WD TV; Microsoft is really protective about this, not allowing streamers to play then.

Considering M$ are no longer supporting Media Center or their extenders, what do they have to lose by letting others support this format?
