Micro USB broken on hardrive. DATA Encrypted so can't restore though PC

The Micro USB port on my external hard drive has broken. I therefore am unable to retrieve the files traditionally. Thankfully, using a HD usb adapter after taking it apart it is evident that the disk is still intact. The issue is that one of the boards in the device encrypts the data so the PC is unable to read the information. There are a lot of important documents on the device that I am hoping to recover. Is there a way around this. I understand that the keys would not be handed out for the sake of security but am wondering if WD offer a service to retrieve this information. Once of the pins is missing from the USB connector so soldering is not an option.

Any suggestions welcomed.

Kind regards,

Sam
