Media player errors

Hope someone can help me with this. I’ve had the wdtv media player for months now and use it on a daily bases. Only recently it has started to stuff up.

1: It resets itself mid video. I could be watch anything and the media player just resets.

2: Not loading movies. Once I click on a movie, the loading circle freezes and nothing happens.

3: Remote not responding: Once a movie does load, if I try and forward or rewind to a certain point , the remote stops working and I have no control.

If anyone is having or had similar problems with their WDTV media player can you please help. I have no idea what to do.

Not an expert by any means.  You probably know that there’s a reset button on the left side of the unit, just beside the usb port.  With the power on, take a toothpick or other small object and press it.  Can’t hurt.  And make sure you have the most current firmware.
