Media Library requires 305MB error

Hi,

I’m using an 80GB hard drive. it’s been reformatted with NTSF. only 2 main folders on the root directory, one for video and other for audio.

I keep getting the error message:

Storage cannot aggregate

Media Library does not have sufficent storage, requires [305MB].

There is still 40GB left on the hard drive!

I think it may be saying that it needs that 40GB, plus an additional 305MB.

That’s all that comes to mind. Otherwise, it shouldn’t be doing this.

Oh, wait… It could be that the drive is somehow marked as “Read Only”, which is preventing the WDTV from writing the files needed for the Media Library.
