I have wireless network using a wireless modem and WDTV plus media player with an external hard disk. Using my laptop with Win 7 I connect to media player to browse through the media files. For last few days I have noticed that few of Media files (mp3, JPG etc) and executables (exe) getting changed to folders with 0 bytes. I am unable to retrieve them back. Please suggest what can be issue and how to retrieve them back.
If you are referring to the media server on your PC, you should have the option to rescan the media library.
