Hi everyone,
I just bought a MyCLOUD HOME DUO from amazonwarehouse. I connected it to my network and the disk worked, I had access to the Family folder.
As it is a reconditioned disk I wanted to do a hard reset to prevent the old owners from having access to my files, so I held the reset button for 60sec and the disk restarted. Since I no longer have access to the disk through my local network or on the mycloudhome site, I cannot add it with the 9 characters to my space, It is look like that the boot has a problem.
When the disc starts up the light is steady and never blinks.
Do you have a solution to my problem? maybe a bootable image to put on usb key in order to try to restart the boot. I saw that we could install the debian system on the disk, maybe someone have the original WD software in a bootable version.
Now if I perform a 60sec reset nothing happen.
