Does anyone know how to install mc (midnight commander) package in my cloud?
apt-get shows nothing available… I know that there is .deb package for armel architecture.

Edit /etc/apt/sources.list
You’ll notice that the repository only has the “Main” distribution. I simply added contrib and non-free to it (non-free isn’t necessary and is probably useless).
deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ wheezy main contrib non-free <---- You want the top line of your sources.list to look like this
Then you will want to do a apt-get update and apt-get install mc

I received no errors whatsoever. The device is pretty much un-brickable if you have half a clue as to how things work. I have plenty of extra services installed on my MyCloud, besides the fact that it is slow as molasses, I’ve had no problems. Please refrain from commenting unless you have something useful to say. This isn’t SomethingAwful or Reddit.
