MBWE WL: can't run SMART long DST

Has anyone had success in running a SMART long self test on a drive in an MBWE WL?

This command starts the test successfully:

smartctl --test=long -d ata /dev/sda

However, when I check status:

smartctl --log=selftest -d ata /dev/sda

It’s always “Aborted by host”.

Is this a Linux kernel problem?

It might be an issue with your OS. Have you try to contact WD tech support?
