MBLD Discovery Is Not Picking Up My Device

Hi,

I’m using MBLD Discovery from disc but it can not locate my device… It worked fine on Windows 7 but now on Windows XP nothing… I’m also having issue discoverying my other my book WDH1U20000E. It works fine on Windows 7 but now on XP I think it’s some issue a lot of people have but how do I resolve ?

It will never discover the old drive since not a NAS

Try mapping the drive manually on the XP computer

software can easily get blocked by firewall or internet security

The WDH1U20000E is a My Book Essential, USB drive, will not be detected by WD Discovery.
