Mbl won't share music

I have 2tb MBL and this was set up via laptop. The system works perfectly with this. I also have a Acer X3990 SF Tower that is running as HTPC using W7 Media Centre. The MBL shares movies perfectly with the HTPC however both Media Center and Itunes can’t access the music. Itunes states music is on a locked drive, Media Center says there no files present. All media is set to share.

  Any help appreciated.

Have you checked your routers settings? like the firewall settings?

Make sure that the ports that Itunes uses for shared data are open.
