I used to upload my iphone photos to MBL and then read it from the WD Photo app fine. I will see the photos sorted the same way it was uploaded (from iPhone photo library).
However, since a couple of months ago, I have had problem reading it in the correct order. To be precise:
-
upload continues to work fine.
-
if I use PC to access the MBL and sort them using “data modified”. They came out in the correct order.
-
I didn’t modify the photo at all so I believe the “date modified” is the date I uploaded them to MBL. That doesn’t bother me either (unlike some other posters wanted to use “data taken”).
-
however, when I view the photos from the iOS App… it is out of order… I found it to be sorted using the file name (which isn’t the original iPhone photo serial number, but some random file names MBL created automatically).
-
That means a photo taken (and uploaded) last year would appear at the end of the list whereas a photo taken yesterday would be middle way through the list.
-
With thousands of photos in the folder, it became a daunting task trying to find the correct photo.
Is there a way to resolve this problem? I don’t believe there is any setting in the App to change the sorting option?
Do we re-scan the media using MBL web UI?
Thanks
