MBL 3TB - Continuous problems with remote connection

So for about 3 weeks I have tried everything.  I have installed my MBL 3TB and no problem with internal network.  The problem for me is the remote access. VIA Iphone the connection is very random. I can connect 15% of the time. VIA external computer 0% success through wd2go.

I have tried port forward to 80, 443, 8080, 8443, 64000, 64001 and numerous others. Tried with DMZ and without.

I have my internet through TELUS and it seems they block a lot of ports. The more I ready the more it seems that the type of packets sent back to the MBL my ISP rejects.(I think).

My current settings are as follows:

SETTINGS->NETWORK

Internet access : Good

Network Mode : Static

IP Address: 192.168.1.70  (this is my MBL)

Netmask : 255.255.255.0

Gatway: 192.168.1.254 (my modem/router, DLINK G3810)

DNS Server 75.153.1xx.x

REMOTE ACCESS: ENABLED

CONNECTION STATUS: CONNECTED

Port forwarding connection established

Connection : Manual

 Port 64000 / 80

Port 64001/443

Mobile access and remote access both ENABLED.

I have tried many many many settings. I have done 2 quick factory restores (per WD support), then one full factory restore.  Still nothing.

ALL HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Thanks

Hello

Have you tried disabling the firewall on your router?

Are you able to access to a different device remotely?

I can only go to a minimum setting on the router.  This allows inbound and outbound policies.  I have it currently on that.  I only have 1 device on my system so I have not been able to test anything else remotely.
