Spotlight starts reindexing my 2T Passport almost every week. It a real nuisance since it takes forever to calculate the time to index the HD and then I have to wait an average of 3 hours for it to finish indexing.
I have tried taking the HD off the list of HD Spotlights searches and then putting it back on. This apparently solves the problem for a whlle but then the vicious cycle starts again.
Is there a solution to this? I need Spotlight to search my Passport since most of the files I use at work are on it.
