Hi; I have the My Book World Edition,white light, but I don’t think the device is the issue. Basically, as admin on my XP computers and the MyBook, I can map the MyBook drives to local letters, Q: & R:, which works fine and even after reboot, but the drives don’t appear for other users. I’ve got 5 computers and 6 different users in my house; no security issues. I just want to map the drives once on each computer and have them visible and accessible to all users, without having to do it separately for each user. Is there any easy way to do this?
No, you have to map the NAS with every single User Account. Use the /persistent:yes option, so that the drive will also maped again after a reboot.
