Manually Created Folders Not Found?

Ok, so I was needing to back up some pictures, so I created a folder by hitting right click and then new folder. named it. transfered the pics there, and then removed the hard drive, and put it back in to “test.”

Well the folder is not there. HOWEVER, if I manually type in the folder path name, it comes up along with all the files…

anyone have any idea whats going on?!?

tried it on a different computer and same issue…

I’m wondering if you are creating these as HIDDEN folders?
