Making files available offline

I have the WD my cloud PR4100, I would like to make the mapped shares/ drives available offline but the system cannot do this according to support, this is a critical feature for me, is there a fix or trick to do this? Please help.

The WD My Cloud PR4100 is a network drive and recommended to use on network. However, you can map a network drive to access its data on local network.
