Making a partition MyBook Essentials 3.0TB a bootable drive

I have a 3.0TB My Book Essentials that I partitioned into a few drives for easy cleaning and virus scanning. I want to make the first primary partition a bootable drive since I want a to backup my Windows installer there. I’ve tried the command “bootsect.exe /nt60 DRIVE_LETTER” but it doesn’t work. I just wanted to know if the bootable drive is possible for my external HD and if so, how do i make the it happen.

I don’t think you can make these drives bootable.
