Make it possible to automatically upload photos to personal shares

I just bought WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra 4TB.
I would like my photos from my phone to automatically be uploaded
to My Cloud. But when I am to choose location for backup, I don’t get to
choose my personal location on the NAS. I can only choose a folder on
the public location. And as far as I can see, this location is the same for all users.
This make the upload folder a total chaos, and I don’t think all users should be able to
see all photos taken by everybody.

I suggest to make the possibility that each user can create their own folder, and choose this folder to
be their own private upload location. If the user wants to share this location would be entirely up to
him/her-self.

which app are you talking about?

Im using My Cloud -app and im able to choose the backup folder.

I’m using the My Cloud app on android. Do you get to choose a location that is not on the public share?
If you do, could you please guide me on how to do it?

yes, when i clicked the setting “autobackup” on/off, it asked me to choose the location. have you logged in with the right user account?

It didn’t help turning the “autobackup” off and then on, but I tried to log out, and then back in. Then I was asked what share I would like to backup to. Problem solved. Thx villex
