I am planning on buying a NAS to use four 2 TB drives. I’d like them to appear as a total of one 8 TB drive. I do not care about any safety measures of redundency/backing up.
Which configuration of RAID do I need to do this?
That’s stripe mode (RAID 0), but the ShareSpace will show you a nice graphic and a description when you are choosing your RAID level that shows just how your ShareSpace will be configured.
