Major Problem, files not showing on My Book

Hi all

I seriously need some help with this.

I have a 1TB WD My Book.

Its not showing any files at all when I open the drive, but it is recognised and under properties for the drive its showing the 387gb that is (or was) actualy on the drive.

This seems to have happened randomly and without warning.

Is their anyway I can get these files back?

Check if the files are hidden

seems that they are corrupted and if that’s the case a recovery software will do

you can use Recuva or TestDisk
