I have been used to using My Book Live in a windows situation with good results. Recently I got a My Cloud NAS for use with my Mac. I backed up as per the instructions and all seemed fine. However, after the backup, when looking at the shares there is a sparsbundle in the Time Machine share and nothing in the public share. Hence I cannot see files as I used to on my Mac or the My Cloud apps on iOS. Is there some way to change this? My Mac is full of music files which I want my streamer to pick up. Thanks, Terry
Hi trs457, welcome to the WD Community. From the Time Machine settings you can change the location of the backup to the public folder or you could also map the Time Machine shared folder to access it from your Mac.
