Mac OS 10.7.1 access and copying files to mybook live 2TB very slow

Hi

Anybody got any idea how to solve the above? When I access from a windows it is very fast. But when I access the shared public folder from my Mac, it takes about 3-4 sec before I see the shared folders, and if I am trying to copy a 300MB file, it is so slow and actually never seem to finish. It’s like stuck at 20MB. I am not running anything else on my network. I just want copy my files from Mac to the mybook live.

Hey there, I have been told that there might be issues with the drive in Lion, however, that Timemachine should work on Mac you update the Firmware of the My Book Live.
