Mac: How do I eject WD Unlocker?

Hello,

  1. I have two computers (Mac), A and B.
  2. I have installed WD Security on computer A and password protected a drive.
  3. When I plugin the drive into computer A again, WD Unlocker shows up on the Finder, I enter the password to unlock the drive and the drive shows up. Then I can eject the drive and the WD Unlocker that appears on the Finder. Done.
  4. Now, when I plugin the drive into computer B (which doesn’t have WD Security installed), the WD Unlocker shows up on the Finder, I enter the password to unlock the drive and the drive shows up. Then I eject the drive, but I cannot eject WD Unlocker because it keeps reappearing on the Finder.

Question 1:
Is this normal (…that WD Unlocker cannot be ejected from the computer which doesn’t have WD Security installed)?

Question 2:
Can I safely unplug the drive even though the WD Unlocker still showing up on the Finder (and cannot be ejected from computer B as I mentioned above)

Thanks.

Yes, it is normal like that. To you question #2, you find as WD unlock only mount as readonly.
