I have the WD HD TV Live with the latest firmare release.
I have it attached to a Windows 7 Desktop via ethernet to modem and a Mac formatted external harddrive.
All movies work fine from both the desktop and external harddrive (all ranging in size from 300 megs - 7 gig).
However, the mp3’s from the Desktop work fine, however when I try playing the mp3 files from the mac external drive, the system just starts scanning the songs, and will occasionally stop at a song and play it, then do the scan thing all over again (doesn’t pick up Album name, Artist etc.).
I’ve copied all mp3’s from the desktop to the external drive via the WD TV Live. They are not itunes songs (all extentions are mp3) either. Any possible explanation for this?
