Mac cannot see two identical G-Drive mobile drives

I have a mid 2011 Mac Mini
Just bought two
G Drives 4 Tb USB C

Mac can see either of them by themselves. But not both at the same time.

I have reformatted the Drives with still no luck

Both other external drives are seen
Switching USB Ports doesn’t resolve.

Any ideas?

Did you get a fix? I am trying to add another My Book 8TB, but the new drive is not showing up in finder (MacBook Pro - running Catalina). It is also not visible in System Report and is not listed in diskutil list in terminal. It’s like I’m trying to connect a potato to my mac!
