Mac apps constantly crashing

New WD My Cloud 3TB arrived today, I have it set up and working on my network but can’t get any of the apps to run on my Macbook Pro (running El Cap) to open.
I’ve tried uninstalling and re-downloading but always the same, The apps will open once and spot the drive but as soon as I’ve selected some files to send to it it crashes, after that it won’t even open again. Any ideas as to what is going on?

So do you mean I need to disable it to make these things run?

I don’t believe so. I have been running it non stop for a year on MAC mid 2010 model with OSX Sierra with no hiccups. Contact WD support, work with them and send them crash files. BY THE WAY, hat type of files are you syncing?
