I have an Asus Dark Hero MB with Ryzen 9 5900x an Asus 4080 and 64 gb of corsair vengeance.I recently bought a WD sn 850x 2 TB. I installed it in M.2_1 as my primary drive. I then moved my sn 850 2TB to M.2_2 my write speed was 5.25 gb/s but read speed was 2.25 gb/s. WD told me to RMA it so I did. They sent me an sn850x 2TB. Same poor performance. Then I read a few threads (one in here) that indicate WD NVME M.2’s do not work wel in the chipset slot. Does anyone know anything in regard to this ? or advice on how to get my secondary ssd to an acceptable speed ? Thanks for Your time & help.
