Generally if you have just one movie file with cover art either embedded or as a single “.jpg” file the WD My Cloud Twonky DLNA server will use that cover art/thumbnail image as the cover art/thumbnail image for the rest of the media content in the folder. The solution, if this is happening to movie files without cover art/thumbnail image is to either remove the offending cover art/thumbnail image from the movie file(s), or remove all the cover art/thumbnail image “.jpg” files, or create a generic cover art/thumbnail image file called “folder.jpg” mark it as “hidden” and copy it to the folder where the cover art/thumbnail image is being incorrectly displayed. What this will do is cause the Twonky DLNA server to use the “folder.jpg” file as the cover art/thumbnail image for any media file in that particular folder that lacks a cover art/thumbnail image.

One can use a program such as  MediaMonky or even  MP3Tag to add or remove the cover art/thumbnail image on certain media files. One can also use those and other programs to add additional metadata tag information (like show title and description) that some DLNA clients can read and display on screen.
