A mini CD came with my WD.
I want to install my WD in another laptop but I dont have the CD. I think it is possible to find it somewhere in this community. Could you please help to find it’s exact location?
Download the proper software (based on your WD drive) from the support area onto your laptop. Put it in a folder you can find (maybe on the desktop). If you have both firmware and software updates, do the firmware FIRST then the software.
