Lost files, just an everyday thing

Tried copying a few files from remote, externally mapped MC, to local drive 

  • it took forever and showed very, very little apparent progress after a couple of hours

so I cancelled it

Result: files are no longer on the MC, and while the filenames are on the local drive, all files are 0kb.

I guess I’m just supposed to accept that this kind of thing is part of having a MC ? 


Have you tried resetting the My Cloud?

To improve the unit performance, make sure that all the devices are gigabit.
